"Too many times we confuse motion with progress" kind of summarises my thoughts on Seesmic. It adds motion and video where none was needed.

I'm sure it has its uses and that I'll "get it" at some point, but right now it is mainly blurry clips of noise that give me a vague idea of how people I've never met (but read) sort of looks like (I try to remove the compression artefacts in my head).

Personally I also think it would limit my postings if I were to use Seesmic instead of blogs/twitter...it does after all make me reliant on not only trying to look decent (tricky enough in my case so no early morning posts here) but also comes with the hardware overhead of cams, comps, connections which I have neither in my otherwise very competent mobile phone.

Just my £0.02. I'm sure the amazing idea behind Seesmic will dawn on me all of a sudden in the future. :)
