Still sad that Rabbit got sidelined, nay mind.

This whole thing reminds me of my staff training at Warwick Castle many moons ago where they played a compilation tape of songs with the words ‘magic’ in the title before launching into staff training on how ‘magic’ the potwash in the kitchen was, and how ‘magic’ disgruntled tourists were….

Londonfilmgeek’s TMbG ‘Birdhouse in your Soul’ quote was particularly funny in the context of social networking… But if I’d known you’d been given this Manic’s quote initially I’d probably have also suggested you stick with them and this song – they’re rather fine and that song is one of their best with a apt title and meaning – “Design for Life”.

Great response but honestly I would have stuck with ‘Libraries Gave Us Power”.
Before it was a Manics Lyric in was an inscription above the entrance to Newport Central Library:

“The library was built for the poor of the town around the turn of the 20th century, a first class public facility to enable those less fortunate to better themselves.”

Oh, I knew that you were looking for lyrics, but I still think that you should have The Flumps as walk-on music.

I’d love to organise a Ruby on Rails conference and have the walk-on music be Kaiser Chief’s Ruby, with the refrain “Ruby, Ruby, Ruby, Ruby, Ruby!” By the end of the day, no one would be able to look or hear the word ‘ruby’ and still see it as a real world. Funny how, if you repeatedly type a word out enough, it stops looking like a word at all.
