“The City”, as in the square mile? How do they ever fit those behemoths in through the roads? What did they destroy to make such a bit pit, and where is Time Team?

Yup, it was 20 Fenchurch Street http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/20_Fenchurch_Street it’s been steadily disappearing over the last year or so and I was thrilled to see it was entirely gone yesterday. Sadly but predictably, it will be replaced by something of an equally inhuman scale….
